10' Breakaway U Channel Sign Post Kit are designed to separate on Impact reducing damage if the pole is struck by a vehicle, the top pole breaks away upon impact saving time and money making replacement quick and easy.

SP-UP- 10BP Break away system is easily created by using a 3 foot U Channel base combined with a 10' U Channel post, These green #2 U channel posts are designed to break away at the stub upon impact. The base post should be no more than 4" above the ground surface. The hardware for attaching should be spaced 4" apart, The post yields at the top of the anchor bolt assembly, normally leaving it undamaged. Includes 10' post, 3' base and mounting hardware.
