Pre-printed pressure-sensitive black numbers and symbols can be easily applied to NFPA® (National Fire Protection Association) labels to identify numerical ratings for Blue health, Red flammability, Yellow instability and White diamond at the bottom of the label, conveys Special Hazard information. This information is conveyed by use of symbols to represent unusual reactivity with water or additional information such as radioactivity, proper fire extinguishing agents or protective equipment that may be required. The hazard evaluation should be performed by persons who are technically competent and experienced in the interpretation of the hazard criteria as set forth in the standard to assist in planning for effective fire and emergency control operations.
